Random Thoughts: Last Night

It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.

Around 3 am (and for the first time ever), hotel security showed up. Why? Because too many peeps were knocking on the wrong fuckin' door looking for Blackout, and those guests called the front desk to complain. Security wanted to come in and shut it down, but we promised them no more people would be allowed in. We already had 70 dudes up in there, so we had to turn a lot of peeps away.

It didn't help, though. Negroes just kept going to the wrong room all night long. Management started calling, and finally, we had to wrap it up around 4 am to prevent security from coming back.

Clearly, it's time to find another spot so we don't have to worry about shit like this anymore. Between now and March 4th, we'll be looking. If anyone knows of a loft or a small warehouse we can use, please contact us. Otherwise, we'll have to postpone Blackout until we find a place. 

Apologies to all for having to end early, especially when things were jumping off so well. 

Lastly, here's an honest, unedited review from a brutha who attended:

"I went to my first one in November, skipped 2 afterwards... Went again last night! Much better!! I left home with dry socks! The selection of men was on point. Got nutted on by 3 dudes. Although somebody went straight to sleep after getting banged out. Snoring and all. But we fucked over him, I mean around him. No spilled drinks, no crazy incidents. 2 guys having a full blown convo. Bathroom was decent. I see you guys are listening more to the suggestions. Good stuff. I'm Cumming back for sure."

Random Thoughts: Last Night

First, a very Happy New Year from the entire Blackout crew. We wish everyone a safe and prosperous 2016.

A special thank you to the 73 bruthas who came throughout the night and made it flow so smoothly. Well, almost. Two dudes had a little too much Hennessy or 1800 (or both?) and ended up...uh...let's just say the liquor didn't stay in their guts. Fortunately, we were able to quickly clean things up. The only thing missing was Febreeze. I gotta remember to have some next time.

As usual, it got hot and freaky. A little more chit-chat around the bar than I usually prefer, but it didn't seem to interfere with those in the bedrooms who came to fuck.

We're getting a lot of encouragement and appreciation for providing a safe, chill environment for the bruthas to kick it. Please continue to give us feedback on how Blackout can improve.

Random Thoughts: Last Night

That was one freaky Friday.

There were 81 of us last night. One brutha who came for the first time said Blackout has an energy that feels welcoming and chill and freaky, all at the same time. That's cool.

A few thoughts:

• Bathroom monitor. Starting in January, we're adding a crew member to keep the bathrooms clean throughout the night and make sure soap and towels are available at all times.

• Wet socks? Yeah, we know. Someone spills a drink, you step on it, now you got soggy socks. Feel free to keep them shoes or flip flops on.

• Know your limit. We had a minor incident where one brutha got full and briefly made someone else's experience uncomfortable. Drink responsibly, please.

Blackout doesn't wanna get caught slippin'. Please share your comments and suggestions so we can continue to improve.
