Random Thoughts: Last Night

We gotta start off by thanking the 45 black men who came out last night. It was the two-year anniversary of Blackout Underground Social and y'all definitely turned up the heat.

Sometimes as we're setting things up before a party, the crew is a little more amped than normal. That's usually a sign that the night is gonna "jump off" real quick. And when we opened our doors to let the first few bruthas in, I could tell things would soon get active.

At one point, there was nobody in the so-called "social area" near the bar. Everyone was in the rooms. Unfortunately, even our security guard kept leaving the gate to sneak in a room and get his dick wet. He took off his shirt and revealed a body that surprised us --- and the boys jumped on him. It was that kind of night.

A big thank-you from the Blackout crew to all the bruthas who have supported us during our two years in the game.

Anacondaz Drama

Anyone who reads The Wall already knows about the drama Anacondaz has caused us ever since we started. We've asked them numerous times to stop calling their events "Blackout" because it creates confusion, but they just keep going. 

For example, here is a legit Blackout Social event we recently posted on Adam4Adam:

And here's Anacondaz on our nuts:

Minor shit, but they didn't stop there. Look here:

They stole "Blackout".  They stole "Thickums". This month, they've stolen "Anniversary Party" to coincide with ours. In the beginning, it caused a lot of confusion for our peeps, so we called Anacondaz. They wouldn't listen, but we quickly established ourselves to the point where it became a non-issue.

Now they come with this dumb shit:

Apparently, somebody created a fake Anacondaz profile on Adam4Adam and is causing confusion for the real Anacondaz. Sound familiar? 

We're not involved, but Anacondaz spread this bullshit about us being a "suspect" without a shred of proof. 

So...

Dear Anacondaz,

First, you're wrong. You've been licking our low-hanging nuts forever, but we have nothing to do with this situation.

Second, what goes around comes around. It's karma, bruh.

Random Thoughts: After Dark

Apologies for the delay, D Rocka. After Dark went real smooth. We had 35 bruthas turn up and chill with us. Most arrived just before midnight to catch that $10 special and it steadily picked up till about 1am. Thanks to all for coming out and supporting us.

We get this question a lot. As the weather improves, we're thinking about bringing it back every other Wednesday. Bruthas might get bored with it if it was on every week, but maybe we're wrong. 

In fact, are we underutilizing our location? We prefer to keep Blackout kinda infrequent because it's just human nature to get bored with something that's too available. Maybe this isn't good business judgment.
