Before we let summer get away, Blackout is gonna take it to a whole new level.
This Friday, we got a new penthouse in Downtown LA with the social area below and an upper level for all the serious action. It will be poppin from 11pm till 6am.

We had a lot more newbies than usual Friday night, which is always a good thing. Blackout tested a new location on Hollywood Blvd, but bruthas started getting it in around midnight and kept it poppin till 7am.

Tony's idea was cool. In fact, we put a star on random clothing bags before we opened. Whoever came in and was assigned a bag with a star received free admission. Hollywood and stars — get it? Obviously, Tony got a freebie, too.
Our notorious Dark Room was hot and sweaty and musky and freaky. There's something about the dark that makes us do things we wouldn't normally do. And I'll just leave it at that...lol
Appreciation
Bruthas often volunteer to help us set up or clean up after parties. It's their way of showing appreciation for what we do, especially for our commitment to serving black men only.

A dude came last night and had such a good time, he handed our host a $100 tip as he was leaving.
I kid you not.
We've seen insane turnouts this summer, but Friday was an epic party. Blackout tried a brand new spot near Hollywood and had sexy mofos from Detroit, St. Louis, and the Bay Area roll through.
Bruthas walked in and wasted no time gettin it in. These fine-ass dudes with dreds fucked the shit outta some bottoms who really, really wanted it — and knew how to take it.
And for some reason, the bartender has his own little fan club. Dudes were lining up at the bar like they wanted a cocktail, but they actually wanted him.
Gotta thank err-body for supporting us as we bounce all over LA looking for the perfect spot.
Admission
A few weeks ago, we discussed a possible price increase to continue providing a safe, comfortable environment and quality liquor. We've decided to do $20 all night, beginning August 3rd. Hopefully, this will not prevent anyone from coming (pun intended).
