Last Night: You Be a Newbie

For some reason, a bunch of newbies popped up last night from all over. We think the Blackout Connect chat room is the reason. Guys discuss what happens at the parties and others get curious.

We asked one Mississippi brutha who came for the first time to write about his experience. Here are his unedited comments:

“So I made a trip to LA for my birthday and experienced blackout for the first time. It was definitely a treat. Staff made sure the location was discrete and accessible. And the guys came in all varieties of sexy. The vibe was laid back but sometimes uncomfortable, so I'd recommend party music or porn playing. Some freaks, some guys more selective but there was someone for everybody. I'm looking forward to my next one.”

Ass got slapped. Hard. Bruthas smoked ⁠(and fucked!) ⁠on the balcony. Overall, we had a very freaky group that looked satisfied by morning. Big BIG thanks to all y’all for your continued support.

Last Night: Whew!

We booked a spot downtown that had way too much security and didn’t allow visitors after 10pm. So, we had to scramble to find another location, which was very hard.

The only spot we could find was a La Quinta near LAX. Below our standards. Bad parking, but we didn’t wanna cancel.

The bruthas were so cool with us and didn’t complain about the last-minute changes. On the downside, the space was kinda small and wasn’t 420-friendly, but the VIBE was lit.

Err-body got a glowing wristband. Tops, bottoms, and vers all had their own color. All of us packed in that room was crazy —- but for some reason, it worked. Bruthas got it in.

Gotta give a HUGE thanks to all of you for being so patient with us. We know it was a scramble, but hope we made up for the inconvenience.

Blackout is still looking for a permanent location, so stay tuned.

Blackout hosts a Glow Party this Friday from midnight till 6am near LAX. No need to guess if somebody is a top or a bottom or versatile. Bruthas will be wearing wristbands. Red for tops, blue for bottoms, and yellow for vers.

Last Night: Wet and Wild

I don’t know what got into bruthas last night, but it had never happened before. In 5 years, we’ve never seen anything like it.

Maybe it was the earthquake that shut down the elevator. Bruthas had to walk up six flights of stairs to reach our loft. Maybe they took their frustrations out on each other.

The spot was great. Being 420-friendly made it even better. Once bruthas got relaxed, they got active. Real active. Apparently, one brutha decided we needed an extra urinal, so he volunteered his mouth.

We were kinda shocked. In fact, someone suggested having a night for more “raunchy” activity. Hmmm, not sure about that…lol

The PROUD Kick-off party on Wednesday night drew 1,000 people. It was insane. Blackout was lit on Friday. And our little last-minute Movie Night on Saturday was so chill, we gotta do it again soon.

We got a lot going on this 4th of July weekend.

It starts with the PROUD Kick-off Party on Wednesday at Rocco’s in West Hollywood from 9pm till 2am. No cover. Free food and drinks. Bottle service and live DJ spinning hip-hop, house and R&B.

Sip & Tip hosts its outdoor cocktail party on Friday evening from 8pm till midnight. Leimert Park. Hot boys serving drinks for tips. Click the flyer above for details.

Friday night belongs to BLACKOUT SOCIAL. We got a loft in Downtown LA that’s 420-friendly. Starts at midnight till 6am.

Then we mix it up on Saturday with an Outdoor Movie Night featuring “The Players Club”. Open bar, popcorn, sexy hosts, and 420-friendly. Social hour at 8pm. Movie starts at 9pm.
