We’ve received numerous messages asking when Blackout Social will return. Although certain non-essential businesses have recently reopened, large gatherings are still prohibited. More importantly, the risk of exposure to coronavirus remains very high.

To resume Blackout in this climate is irresponsible and illegal. We ask all our supporters to follow the established social distancing guidelines.

Los Angeles County has declared a state of emergency over the coronavirus. After considering the responses received on this site and on Blackout Connect, we’ve decided to put our events on hold until further notice.

To us, this is the responsible thing to do. Are we overreacting? Perhaps, but we prefer to use caution in this very serious situation.
