Blackout Returns Labor Day Weekend

Blackout Social will resume this Labor Day weekend, Friday, September 2nd from 11pm till 5am.

Although recent reports suggest a decline in new monkeypox cases, it remains a serious issue throughout the country.

We strongly advise our potential guests to know their current status. Please seek prompt medical care if you experience signs or symptoms associated with monkeypox or believe you were exposed to a monkeypox infection.

Announcement re: Monkeypox

We invited a representative from APLA Health to last night’s Blackout. He assisted our guests in scheduling appointments for the monkeypox vaccine and/or STD testing.

Several bruthas expressed an interest and signed up for future appointments. It became clear that Blackout Social must do the responsible thing and postpone all future events until further notice.

As much as we regret not being able to see everyone each week, ensuring a healthy and safe environment for our guests is the main priority.

APLA Partners with Blackout Social

Due to a recent increase of monkeypox cases in the United States, APLA Health is partnering with Blackout Social to provide information and testing resources for our community.

Blackout Social attendees who sign up for a free monkeypox vaccination or STD screening will receive a $5 discount off admission.

Last Night: Social and Sexual

It was one of those nights that started off very social, and remained that way till closing. The newbies observed the chill vibe and lively conversation, which helped them settle in and participate.

Gimme Some Air

As usual, the notorious Dark Room was a magnet for bruthas who were there for serious business only. Sweaty bodies were all over the place, even with central air on full blast and a ceiling fan at top speed. Some bruthas had to sit in front of a personal desk fan to cool the fuck down.

Deep Clean

We had a couple of dudes who were not fully “prepared” for big dicks, if you get my drift. As a reminder, if you plan on being on the receiving end of things, please make sure you deep clean. Accidents happen, but some of y’all are slacking.
